Computer Citi – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Server Sonics LLC d/b/a Computer Citi ("we," "us," or "our"), including our website, in-store services, and any related communications. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Services Provided

We provide cell phone and electronic device repair services. We will diagnose the problem with your device and provide you with an estimate for the repair. We will only perform the repair if you approve the estimate.


2. Estimates and Payment

Estimates are provided based on our initial assessment of the device. The actual cost of the repair may vary if additional issues are discovered during the repair process. We will notify you of any changes to the estimate and obtain your approval before proceeding. Approval can be provided in writing or verbally.

Payment is due upon completion of the repair.

A diagnostic fee may be charged if you decline the repair after we have diagnosed the problem. This fee covers the time and expertise involved in diagnosing the issue.

Repair timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on parts availability and repair complexity.


3. Data Loss

Important: You are solely responsible for backing up your data before bringing your device in for repair. We are not responsible for any data loss that may occur during the repair process.

While we take precautions to protect your data, we cannot guarantee that your data will not be lost or corrupted.

4. Warranty

We offer different types of warranty based on our repair services. The warranty covers defects in workmanship and parts used in the repair, for the duration of the warranty, which varies depending on the service performed.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Accidental damage
  • Misuse or abuse
  • Liquid damage
  • Pre-existing damage
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs

The warranty is void if the device is opened or tampered with by anyone other than us.

Devices with liquid damage may experience additional failures over time, even after repair. We do not guarantee long-term functionality for such devices.

To claim warranty service, you must return the device to us with proof of purchase.


5. Parts and Repair Conditions

We may use third-party or aftermarket parts unless otherwise specified. These parts may not be manufactured by the original device manufacturer.

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, including but not limited to cracked screens, weakened components, prior repairs, or internal defects that may affect repair outcomes.

Certain repairs, especially involving heavily damaged or liquid-damaged devices, carry inherent risks and may result in partial or complete device failure.

You may be required to provide your device passcode or disable security features to allow proper testing. We are not responsible for issues that cannot be verified due to restricted access.


6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for any damages arising out of or relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the repair.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or loss of use of your device.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.


7. Abandoned Devices

If you fail to pick up your repaired device within 90 days after we notify you that it is ready, we may consider the device abandoned.

We will make reasonable efforts to contact you via phone and email before considering a device abandoned.

We may sell or otherwise dispose of abandoned devices to recoup our costs, as permitted by law.


8. SMS/Text Messaging

We use SMS/text messaging through our point-of-sale (POS) system to communicate with you regarding appointment reminders, repair updates, missed calls, and, with your express consent, occasional promotional offers.

Consent: By providing your mobile phone number and opting in (verbally, in-store, or electronically), you consent to receive SMS messages from Server Sonics LLC d/b/a Computer Citi.

Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Opt-Out: You may opt out at any time by replying “STOP” to any message.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies. Messages are primarily service-related, with occasional promotional messages only if you have opted in.

Message and Data Rates May Apply: Check with your carrier for details.

Permitted Message Types:

  • Appointment reminders
  • Repair status updates
  • Missed call follow-ups
  • Review requests

No Sharing of Information: We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing purposes.

10DLC Compliance: We comply with all applicable 10DLC regulations.


9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law principles.


10. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in the State of Washington, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.


11. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications.


12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.


13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. All services, pricing, policies, and terms are subject to change at any time.

We will post updates on our website and update the “Last Updated Date.” Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
